The brand Katy Sue began evolving in 1993, when mother and daughter Doreen Thompson and also the current CEO Susan Balfour started making miniature porcelain dolls at the kitchen table in South Shields. We are pleased to note that their ranges of paper products, prized silicone molds and acrylic items are still manufactured in South Shields to this day. Having a British manufacturing base ensures that products always meet our excellent quality standards, and gives the company the ability to expand our production plans to manufacture the products you want, whenever you want them. The Flower Pro mold and cutter range was developed in collaboration with the incredibly talented chef Nicholas Lodge, so it is now much quicker and easier to produce realistically looking sugar flowers. The beautiful, detailed design is at the heart of this company from day one, and with its talented team of in-house designers, it continually develops new products and lines with true creative taste. The manufacturer is continually seeking exciting new design trends, so you can be sure they are developing new products that will delight and inspire you.
